When March rolls around, the madness begins. With millions of basketball fans following the tournament online, Capital One didn't want to detract from all the action. We wanted to add it.
We gave users a banner experience they've NEVER had before. With 2 unique interactive ads, we engaged both mobile and desktop visitors to test their basketball skills. When mobile users visited ncaa.com, they were challenged to spin the rock in Quicksilver Spin-Off, after which they could share their times and challenge their friends. When desktop users visited the site, they played the FIRST-EVER dual device connected banner game, allowing them to light-up the scoreboard by shooting from their phones to their computer.
